Most of the problems that slow a team down are symptoms: friction, miscommunication, mounting workload. If that's all you steer on, you keep mopping the floor.
The symptom is not the cause
Beneath every symptom sits a pattern: unclear roles, goals that aren't alive, or tension no one names. Only when you intervene there does the symptom disappear for good.
Tackle only what's visible and you'll never solve what's visible.
For every recurring problem, ask yourself one question: what keeps this happening? The answer rarely lies on the surface.
